Dad and daughter forest walk
Well, we could not have asked for a more gorgeous weather for this dad and daughter session! We went out at noon, which made for some tricky lighting at times with the harsh sun, but most of the location was in the woods so the trees gave us some much needed cover and a lovely dappled light. Baby was such a cheeky little character and was in a sticking-her-tongue-out phase which was adorable.
We started with a relaxed walk through the woods up the hill of Aldbury Nowers, and Baby was so excited, she kept changing her mind: “I don’t want to be carried, I’m going to walk like a big girl. Wait, I’m done with walking, let’s sit in the leaves. Ah, I want to walk again. Actually, I think I’ll run. Mmmh… up on Daddy’s shoulders is fun too!” Daddy was great at re-directing her as well. She kept wanting to pick her nose (#toddlerlife…) but Daddy gave her some sticks to play with, and with her hands full, we were good to go. I always bring some things with me such as bubbles or a noisy toy to get the babies’ attention, but a lot of the time, there’s plenty to play with wherever you go and kids get entertained by the most random things.
Here is a sneak peak of this lovely Daddy and Daughter session.
