Mist and bubbles

I photographed this family of 5 just a few days before Christmas and as the date was approaching and the weather was getting worse and worse, I was worried we might have to push the session. But on the day, the rain stopped, and this gorgeous mist made for a very unique and surprisingly cosy feel.

I always bring bubbles with me as I find it’s a great way to make the kids forget about the camera and just play and be themselves. The three girls (in adorable matching outfits!) had an absolute blast, especially the little one who, as it turned out, had literally just learnt the word “bubbles” a few days before. So of course when I took the bubbles out, she was beside herself! There were lots of running, pointing, laughing and hugging involved! Such a fun shoot with this gorgeous family.
